Jesus Christ’s words to the seven churches in the book of Revelation are not just ancient history. They reveal the spiritual condition of God’s Church and local congregations throughout history.
The letters to the seven churches as commanded by Christ through John contain important lessons! If we heed these lessons, we will gain a reward from Jesus Christ. Christ advised all seven churches: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:22). Let us examine how these lessons apply to the church today.
