Is your church unhealthy ?

Church health is the key to a local church’s survival and growth.  If a local congregation is declining in numbers, it is  very good indication that it has become unhealthy in one or more areas.

DyingChurch.org’s website is dedicated to increasing the awareness of the critical state of many churches and providing resources to revitalize them. Some churches are sick and dying and do not know why.

DyingChurch.org has pulled together a number of resources that will help you analyze the state of your church and point you and your church to possible remedies that will enable your church to return to good health.

DyingChurch.org’s strategy is similar to Rick Warren’s that is stated in his book “A Purpose Driven Church”,   however we believe that prayer, both individual & corporate is the most critical element needed to restore health.   We also have expanded his steps 1-4 into ten smaller steps in the specific sequence listed under training from the main menu above.  We encourage that every step be bathed in corporate prayer .

God’s instructions to the church at Ephesus serve as a curriculum outline for church vitality and revitalization: “Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first.” (Rev. 2:5) There is a three-fold paradigm for renewing our churches:

Remember… Repent… Recover….

Let us help you! We will provide free analysis, provide recommendations, and walk with you through the process. Contact us by the “contact us” link in above menu.

Church Revitalization

Church vitality or revitalization is nothing more than following God’s prescription for church health.

Rev 2:1-5 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; [2] I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: [3]And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. [4] Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. [5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Common element – call to REPENT!

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
